  During the die-casting process, when the die-casting mold is in contact with liquid metal at high temperatures (400 ℃ -800 ℃), it not only receives heat for a long time but also bears high pressure. Therefore, special attention should be paid when selecting the material of the die-casting mold. The mold material must have the following performance characteristics:

  1. High heat resistance and good high-temperature mechanical properties

  2. Excellent heat fatigue resistance and high thermal conductivity

  3. Good antioxidant and corrosion resistance

  4. High temperature resistance and good creep resistance

  5. Heat treatment with small deformation and high hardenability

  6. Good malleability and chip processing ability, etc

  In addition to formed die-casting, die-casting mold parts should also choose to have their own mold room based on working conditions, action parts, force size, transfer form, and heat treatment. Strict requirements are also placed on mold material selection to ensure that the mold life can be effectively improved during later use, thereby helping customers reduce production costs!
