extruded aluminum channel t slot.Introduction to Surface Treatment Technology for Aluminum Alloy Die Castings

2024-03-04 hits:0 source:News

  1. Aluminum alloy die-casting parts can be sprayed with powder coating on the surface of the die-casting parts through powder spraying equipment. Under the action of static electricity, the powder will uniformly adsorb on the surface of the aluminum alloy die-casting parts, forming a powdery coating. The powdery coating undergoes high-temperature baking, leveling and solidification to form different types of final coatings with different effects. This type of surface treatment process is commonly used in the treatment of aluminum alloy die castings.

  2. Paint baking treatment: The true paint baking process is to use aluminum alloy to phosphatize and spray before baking. This coating not only prevents corrosion but also has a bright and wear-resistant color, which is not easy to peel off. This is also a commonly used process, with bright and sub black colors, which can be customized according to customer needs.

  3. Oxidation treatment: Aluminum alloy surface oxidation, suitable for conductive oxidation, aluminum materials or aluminum profiles, suitable for anodizing. However, because the oxidation process is immature in the entire die-casting industry, not only is the cost very high, but also the surface effect produced is not good, and the defect rate is relatively high. Therefore, most customers are not recommended to use the anodizing process.

  4. Sandblasting treatment: Using compressed air as the power, a layer of fine sand is sprayed on the surface of aluminum alloy die castings in the form of high-speed spraying, which changes the surface or shape of the aluminum alloy die castings, enhances the friction coefficient of the contact surface, and also has a certain degree of cleanliness.

  5. Electroplating treatment: Electroplating is the process of using electrolysis to deposit metals or alloys on the surface of die castings to form a metal film. Simply understood, it is a combination of physical and chemical changes or combinations. The electroplating process can prevent corrosion and has good wear resistance. However, the method used for electroplating is relatively simple and can only be water plated. Moreover, due to the limited level of technology at present, the defect rate of aluminum alloy die-casting parts electroplated is relatively high. Therefore, it is not recommended to do this for products with high appearance requirements.
