Zinc alloy die-casting parts are very common in daily life. Due to the increasingly mature production process and strong technical strength of zinc alloy die-casting, there are more and more methods for deburring zinc alloy die-casting parts. Today, let's take a look at the advantages and disadvantages of various deburring methods for zinc alloy die-casting parts!
1. Manual deburring and polishing
This is the most traditional and commonly used method in die casting factories, using files (including manual and pneumatic files), sandpaper, sanding belt machines, grinding heads, and other auxiliary tools.
Disadvantages: High labor costs, low efficiency, and difficulty in removing complex cross holes.
Applicable object: Zinc alloy die castings with low technical requirements for workers, small burrs, and simple product structure.
2. Deburring and polishing of stamping dies
Deburring is carried out by using a production die in conjunction with a punching machine.
Disadvantage: It requires a certain amount of production cost for stamping molds (coarse and fine), and may also require the production of shaping molds.
Applicable object: Suitable for zinc alloy die castings with simple parting surfaces, with better efficiency and deburring effect than manual labor.
