What are the mold performance of zinc alloy die-casting processing plants

Die casting molds are an important part of zinc alloy die casting production. Therefore, die casting molds need to have quality assurance to ensure that there will be no quality problems in subsequent production. High quality molds have good performance, which to some extent ensures the quality of mold use. So, what are the performance of molds?

  1. Good thermal conductivity

Because the mold is in a high temperature state for a long time, good thermal conductivity can only function under high temperature conditions.

  2. Low degree of deformation during heat treatment

If the degree of deformation is large after heat treatment, it will lead to the scrapping of the mold, thereby affecting the production efficiency of die casting.

  3. Strong tempering resistance and cold/hot fatigue resistance

Thermal fatigue is a decisive factor affecting the lifespan of molds, and poor resistance to thermal strain can cause cracks.

  4. Sufficient hardness and heat resistance

Only molds with sufficient hardness, strength, and heat resistance can resist high temperature, high pressure, and thermal stress during processing, and prevent cracking.
