  1. Aluminum alloy: Aluminum alloy has low density, but high strength, approaching or exceeding high-quality steel, good plasticity, and can be processed into various profiles. It has excellent conductivity, thermal conductivity, and corrosion resistance. It is widely used in industry, second only to steel in terms of usage. After heat treatment, certain aluminum alloys can achieve good mechanical properties, physical properties, and corrosion resistance.

  2. Pure aluminum: soluble in dilute sulfuric acid, dilute nitric acid, hydrochloric acid, sodium hydroxide, and potassium hydroxide solutions, insoluble in water, but able to react slowly with hot water.

  As can be seen from the above, pure aluminum has a low hardness and is difficult to form. It deforms with a slight external force, and its chemical stability is poor, making it very prone to chemical reactions such as oxidation, acidification, corrosion, and so on. But using aluminum alloy can solve these problems, which can improve hardness and enhance chemical stability. So die casting generally uses aluminum alloy.
