　　Die casting molds are a necessary condition for manufacturing die castings, playing a decisive role in die casting. The die castings produced by die casting molds with a reasonable structure must be qualified and meet the standards.

　　When designing the mold, materials with sufficient rigidity should be selected to avoid deformation of the mold during the die-casting process. For the convenience of installation, disassembly, and repair, do not choose bulky molds. The parts on the mold should meet the conditions of mechanical processing and heat treatment, and the sharp parts of the parts should be reduced to facilitate the use after heat treatment. In addition, the shape of the mold should match the die-casting machine. After understanding the above prerequisites, you can prepare for the maintenance of the mold. Firstly, preheating should be done in advance before die-casting to prevent sudden heating from damaging the mold. If temporary shutdown is required, the cooling water should be reduced and the mold should be used reasonably. Secondly, reasonable design and high-quality materials are the key to extending the lifespan of molds. Third, the mold surface should be oxidized and coated with a protective layer to prevent rust. Fourthly, the surface polishing of the mold should be moderate and the correct polishing operation should be carried out. Fifth, choose the appropriate release agent for demolding.
