  1. Choose the appropriate die-casting machine

  Sufficient injection capacity: Ensure that the die casting does not cause overheating or excessive overflow of the mold, while also ensuring that the machine has sufficient capacity to transport enough molten metal and fill the mold cavity at the required speed in a short period of time.

  2. Design of flow channels for die-casting molds

  Due to the fact that zinc alloy must fill the mold cavity in a short period of time, the design and production of die-casting molds and their flow channel systems require much higher requirements than plastic molds. The flow channel system guides the metal solution to fill the mold cavity in a certain way. It plays an important role in the flow direction of the metal solution, pressure transfer, filling time, exhaust conditions, and mold temperature distribution. At the same time, it is also an important factor determining the quality of die-casting parts. The design principle of the flow channel system of die-casting molds should be from the gooseneck to the gate, avoiding sharp bends, and the surface of the flow path should be smooth to reduce resistance and maintain the flow speed of liquid zinc alloy.

  3. Die casting mold temperature

  The control of surface temperature of zinc alloy die-casting molds is very important for producing high-quality zinc alloy die-casting parts. Inappropriate mold temperature can lead to unstable dimensions of zinc alloy die castings, resulting in deformation, thermal pressure, mold sticking, surface depression, internal shrinkage, and hot bubbles during the production process. When there is a significant difference in mold temperature, it has varying degrees of impact on variables in the production cycle, such as filling time, cooling time, and spraying time. Therefore, the zinc alloy die-casting mold temperature machine is an important tool to improve the quality of zinc alloy die-casting parts.
