1) Check the raw materials and hardness of the mold
Mold forming should have a certain hardness of not less than 50HRC, and its surface hardening treatment hardness should be higher than 600HV; Anti corrosion measures should be taken for the formed surface;
2) Check if there are any defects in the appearance of the mold
The appearance of the mold should not be damaged, the characters should be clear, arranged neatly, and the surface should not have any defects such as pits, rust, excess lifting rings, inlet and outlet water vapor, oil holes, etc;
3) Check if the mold size is qualified
The dimensional accuracy of die-casting molds should meet the requirements of formal and effective mold opening drawings (or 3D files), with surface misalignment less than 0.1mm and no defects such as weld marks;
4) Is the design of the parting surface standard
The surface of the front and rear molds should not have any unevenness, pits, rust, or other defects that affect the appearance. The inserts should match the mold frame, and there should be a gap of less than 1mm around the corners;
5) Casting system for molds
The flow section and length of the pouring system should be designed reasonably, and the process should be shortened as much as possible while ensuring the forming quality, reducing the accumulation to shorten the filling and cooling time, ensuring that the setting of the gate does not affect the appearance of the product, and meeting the requirements of product assembly;
