Sandblasting is one of the common surface treatment processes for aluminum alloy die-casting, which has been widely used in various aluminum alloy shell castings. Regarding the aluminum alloy sandblasting process, the following four points should be noted:
、 Before sandblasting, the surface of the aluminum alloy die casting shell needs to be cleaned thoroughly. The cleaning process involves using sulfuric acid to remove surface oil stains and dirt. After acid washing, it is then neutralized with alkali;
、 Air dry or dry aluminum alloy shell die-casting parts to inspect the surface, mainly to check whether they are clean and whether there are watermarks, etc;
、 The process of roughening the surface of an aluminum alloy shell through the impact of high-speed sand flow during sandblasting. The roughness of the sand particles on the surface of the aluminum alloy shell is determined by the sand particle type and sandblasting pressure. Under the same pressure, the larger the sand particle value, the finer the surface;
、 Sandblasting is divided into dynamic sandblasting and automatic sandblasting. Manual sandblasting has a slower efficiency and sometimes sprays unevenly; Automatic sandblasting has high efficiency and uniform surface roughness.
