Three elements of precision die-casting machining
Precision die-casting machining is currently one of the most widely used metal product manufacturing processes. Precision die-casting has good load-bearing capacity, high dimensional accuracy, and smooth surface. Therefore, precision die-casting machining is widely used in industries such as automobile manufacturing, mechanical parts processing, hardware tools, toys, and decorative products.
As is well known, die-casting machines are the foundation of precision die-casting machining processes, and selecting the appropriate die-casting machine is an important step in precision die-casting machining. Evaluating the performance of die-casting machines can be done through two aspects, namely mold locking force and injection force.
Locking force refers to the force provided by the die-casting machine to close the moving and fixed molds. During the production of precision die-casting parts, die-casting molds will bear huge impact forces. If there is not enough locking force, the molten metal will overflow from the closing of the moving and fixed molds of the die-casting mold, which not only wastes materials, but also easily harms people and affects the quality of precision die-casting parts.
The injection force is the force exerted by a die-casting machine to inject molten metal into the cavity of a die-casting mold. This is the origin of the name of the die-casting process. In order to timely fill the molten metal in place, the injection force cannot be small. However, excessive injection force can easily cause overheating of the mold and overflow of the molten metal.
