The characteristic of the pattern is that the flow direction of the metal liquid appears on the surface of the die casting, and the surface flow pattern is a fine combination of mold lines between different curing intervals, forming unsightly wrinkles on the surface of the product. The reason for the formation of patterns is that the mold temperature is too low, causing the metal liquid to not flow. Insufficient pressure acting on the metal liquid is also the reason for the appearance of patterns in die castings, and excessive use of paint and injection oil is also one of the reasons. Based on the reasons, we have identified preventive measures. Firstly, we need to increase the temperature of the mold. Secondly, we need to adjust the speed and pressure of the molten metal in the inner runner. Finally, we need to select appropriate coatings, injection oil, and adjust the amount of coating injection oil used. The general pattern will not affect the use of die castings, and can be removed by polishing or sandblasting.
