　　Requirements for Aluminum Alloy Die Casting Molds by Established Die Casting Factories

　　(1) The surface and parting surfaces of aluminum alloy die-casting molds should be smooth and free of foreign objects, without scratches or punctures, that is, to the extent that they can be used as mirrors. This is because die-casting molds bear huge locking forces and impact forces during metal liquid filling. If there are scratches or punctures, it is easy to cause thermal stress accumulation and mold failure;

　　(2) There are obvious markings on the non working surface of the die-casting mold, including product code, mold code, manufacturing date, etc. Because it is impossible to distinguish what die-casting part the mold corresponds to from the appearance, we cannot wait until the die-casting machine is installed to know who it is, especially when we are engaged in customization and produce a large number of molds for customers. If we do not number them, it is easy to confuse them, which not only affects production efficiency but also easily leads to batch die-casting errors. Therefore, it is necessary to label them clearly;

　　(3) Both the moving and fixing parts of the die-casting mold need to be equipped with screw holes for lifting, and the depth should not be less than 1.5 times the diameter of the hole. The weight of the mold is very large and cannot be manually moved. A crane is needed to complete the mold installation;

　　(4) On the parting surface of the die-casting mold, except for the guide hole, all other holes should be plugged and the height should be flush with the parting surface.
