What is the foundation of a zinc alloy die-casting factory?
The foundation of a zinc alloy die-casting factory is the quality of the die-casting parts. The die-casting process involves injecting high-temperature zinc alloy melt into the mold cavity through a die-casting machine at high pressure and speed, and then removing the metal after cooling and forming. One of the fundamental aspects of this process is the material. Zinc alloy die-casting parts can become one of the most commonly used die-casting parts, which cannot be separated from the excellent characteristics of die-casting zinc alloys.
Die cast zinc alloy has the following characteristics:
(1) The specific gravity is 2.5 times that of aluminum alloy, and only with weight can there be texture;
(2) Good casting performance, suitable for making various precision parts;
(3) The surface of die-casting parts is smooth and suitable for various surface treatments, such as electroplating, electrophoresis, painting, oil spraying, sandblasting, baking paint, etc;
(4) In the molten state, it does not stick to or corrode the mold, resulting in a long service life of the mold;
(5) Low melting point, only 385 ℃, easier to form than aluminum alloy die-casting;
(6) Has good mechanical properties at room temperature.
