  Aluminum alloy die-casting is currently an extremely hot production process.   Originally, aluminum alloy die-casting was not as effective as zinc alloy die-casting because there were still some tricky defects that needed to be improved, such as many air holes and easy mold sticking in the die-casting parts. However, zinc alloy die-casting parts do not have these problems at all. After forming, the surface of zinc alloy die-casting parts is smooth and wear-resistant, which is very suitable for various surface treatments. On the other hand, aluminum alloy die-casting parts have a relatively loose structure and high surface porosity, resulting in a lower yield rate during surface treatment.

  However, with the advancement of technology, these defects in aluminum alloy die-casting processes can be solved, which cannot be compared to zinc alloy die-casting processes. Zinc alloy die-casting processes are already mature and have almost no room for improvement. With the automotive manufacturing industry moving towards lightweight development, aluminum alloy die-casting has become the only choice. Various sectors of society are trying to improve aluminum alloy die-casting processes. Although there has not been significant progress in aluminum alloy die-casting processes in China yet, it can be foreseen that in the near future, aluminum alloy die-casting processes will surpass zinc alloy die-casting processes.
