The manufacturing process of zinc alloy die-casting parts may seem simple, but the details cannot be ignored. Today, let's briefly talk about the precautions to be taken before mechanical polishing of zinc alloy die-casting parts!
1. Inspect product quality to ensure product quality and improve product yield!
2. Try to avoid using diamond gauze wheels for polishing. During operation, it is important to avoid excessive force, as the delicate surface of the die-casting parts can easily be thrown off, thereby affecting the adhesion of the electroplating layer.
3. Pay attention to light polishing and handling during operation. The polished parts should be electroplated as soon as possible. If left for too long, it will affect the appearance and adhesion of the coating.
When performing cloth wheel polishing operations, appropriate rotational speed (1400-1800r/min), polishing wheel material (fine cloth or felt), and polishing wheel diameter (≤ 300mm) should be selected. If the rotational speed is too fast, the force is too strong, and there is a lack of polishing paste on the polishing wheel, it will cause the surface of the parts to form fine spots and wrinkles that are difficult to distinguish with the naked eye. This not only affects the decorative effect, but also causes blistering and peeling.
