After the die-casting operation, the die-casting molds in the die-casting factory will have surface carbon, residual release agent, accumulation of dust, and lubricant dirt. Therefore, it is necessary to clean the die-casting molds to extend their service life.
The first method is direct cleaning, which involves applying or pouring a small amount of stock solution or diluent directly onto a high-temperature mold, allowing the mold washing water to react with the mold. After a short period of time, the dirt will automatically detach from the mold, and the mold will be cleaned before the mold washing water is completely dry. The second method is immersion cleaning, which involves immersing the high-temperature mold in room temperature mold washing water for 2-3 minutes. If the mold dirt accumulates severely, soak it for an additional time. After the dirt softens, rinse it clean. After cleaning with water, blow dry the surface of the mold with air, and then put it into production. When using other cleaning methods and using chemical products, it is necessary to wear rubber gloves. If it comes into contact with chemical products, please immediately rinse with plenty of flowing water.
