  1. The use of mold cooling system. When used correctly, mold cooling water not only extends the service life of the mold, but also improves production efficiency.

  In actual production, we often overlook its importance, and the operators try to save time. It is too troublesome to connect the cooling water pipes. But even the best mold steel has its limits, let's take the temperature control of the mold during the die-casting process as an example! When the mold is in use, if the mold temperature is too high, it is easy to cause turtle cracks to appear on the surface of the mold core at an early stage. Some molds even have a large area of turtle cracks before exceeding 2000 mold cycles. Even during production, due to the high temperature of the mold, the core of the mold has changed color, and after measurement, it even reaches over 400 degrees. Such temperatures are prone to cracking when exposed to the cold state of the release agent, and the produced products are also prone to deformation, pulling, and sticking to the mold. When using mold cooling water, the use of release agents can be greatly reduced, so that operators will not use release agents to lower the temperature of the mold. The benefit is that it can effectively extend the lifespan of the mold, save the die-casting cycle, improve product quality, reduce the occurrence of mold sticking, pulling and aluminum sticking, and reduce the use of release agents. It can also reduce the loss of the top rod and core caused by overheating of the mold temperature.

  2. The mold must be preheated during the production process.

  This is mainly to prevent the occurrence of turtle cracks when cold molds suddenly encounter hot metal liquid. For more complex molds, spray lamps and liquefied gas can be used. For better conditions, a mold temperature machine can be used. For simpler molds, slow pressure injection can be used for preheating.

  3. If the mold is equipped with neutron control, it is absolutely forbidden to have any joints in the signal line between the die-casting machine and the mold.

  The reason is very clear. In daily production, it is difficult to avoid water on the signal line, or the area where the joint is wrapped is easily broken, which can cause a short circuit with the machine tool. If the signal is incorrect, it may cause an alarm to automatically stop and delay time, or it may cause signal disorder and damage to the mold. Causing unnecessary losses. Pay attention to waterproofing for the travel switch.
