During the solidification process of the zinc alloy metal liquid, small holes may appear inside or on the surface of the die-casting due to volume shrinkage, which can affect the quality of the die-casting and subsequent processes. For example, holes may form on the surface of the die-casting during polishing or bubbles may occur during surface treatment, which can cause the die-casting to be scrapped and increase production costs. There is currently no complete cure for the shrinkage holes in zinc alloy die-casting technology, and it can only be made as dispersed and small as possible. This is the limitation of zinc alloy die-casting technology. There are three strategies for treating shrinkage holes. Firstly, the die-casting part should be cooled as evenly as possible to reduce the degree of shrinkage hole aggregation; Secondly, improving the pouring system can result in smaller and fewer shrinkage holes; The third is to design the structure of the die-casting parts reasonably, which can reduce the aggregation area and improve the surface quality of zinc alloy die-casting parts.
